Love to Scream: Prologue

Damascus, Oregon: 6:00am Friday~

Another Friday. Then back to Monday, I think to myself as I get out of bed and turn the off switch on my alarm clock. I lazily scoot into my bathroom to see the train wreck that is, my hair. I quickly get ready for school and go downstairs. My mom yells at me for not eating breakfast, again, for about the third day in a row. I say goodbye and walk out the door, but I am ready to head back in, as it is raining fairly hard. I like the rain, don't get me wrong. I just wish that it would stop when I have to wait for a bus in it. Wanting NOT to get drenched in the rain, I put up an umbrella and walk calmly up the hill to my bus stop. As I wait for the bus on the side of the small highway, as I always do, I get a text message. I ignore it and put my ear buds in my ears and listen to my on-going playlist of Black Veil Brides. I see the bus coming up the hill and I put the umbrella down. Once I am on the bus I check my phone. It's my friend Ali. She types in all capital letters: "MAKENNA! BVB IS COMING TO PORTLAND!" I reply back, "That's awesome! We should go!" Then my phone rings. "Makenna! Black Veil Brides are coming to Portland!" It's my friend Ashton who also likes the band. I tell her that Ali already told me and that I think we should all go. Then after talking for a few minute about our plans to dress crazily for the concert I hang up and I arrive at school. I get off the bus and, despite my exciting morning, becomes more or less a very usual day. I keep thinking about the concert though. Once the day is over and I can finally go home for the weekend, I get online to look for tickets. I found some pretty decent tickets that allowed me to almost touch the stage, but be a pretty good distance away. I figured that was the best I'd get and I bought them. I called Ali and Ashton to see if they had gotten tickets. They had, but they were farther back. I am so excited to have the tickets. I did a girly scream and spun in my office chair happily. I, Makenna, am going to a Black Veil Brides concert.
